Spending his youth in Montreal, Bill Langstroth landed his first gig in Halifax as a producer at CBC. Working alongside the recognized Don Messer, Langstroth quickly climbed the ladder, moving from coordinating producer in 1954 to a series producer in 1955. Under this title, Langstroth grew the "Don Messer Show" to a nationally broadcasted program and in the years following hosted, "Singalong Jubilee." His extensive efforts and great talent in the areas of television production allow him to be recognized as one of the country's first and best industry leaders.
