ANNOUNCE NEW MULTI-YEAR SPONSORSHIP
2019 AND 2020 CCMA AWARDS TO BE PRESENTED BY TD
Returning to Calgary for the first time in over a decade, the Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA) has much to celebrate this year. Today, the CCMA is proud to announce a new multi-year relationship with TD Bank Group. Confirmed earlier this year by the CCMA’s sponsorship team (Feldman Entertainment Partnerships), the agreement will see both the 2019 and 2020 CCMA Awards presented by TD.
“Working with the TD team to bring this relationship to life has been extremely rewarding for the CCMA office,” said Tracy Martin, President, CCMA. “With our shared goal of bringing fans together to celebrate music excellence, we are curating unforgettable fan experiences and key attractions that tie in seamlessly with Country Music Week and the CCMA Awards show.”
Also announced today, TD will help breathe new life into the CCMA Ultimate Fan Contest. Speaking directly to the CCMA’s ongoing dedication to fan-focused programming during Country Music Week, this contest will see TD and the CCMA conduct a national search for Canada’s Ultimate Country Music Fan. Full contest details will be revealed shortly.

Honouring the importance of fans and the shared love of music, this new relationship culminates on Sunday, September 8 as fans gather at the 2nd annual Fan Village for the TD Countdown Concert. Featuring performances by 2019 CCMA Award nominees, this hour-long show will lead directly into the CCMA Awards Red Carpet with ET Canada and then Canada’s biggest night of country music -- the 2019 CCMA Awards presented by TD, airing live from Calgary, AB at 9 p.m. EST/PST on Global.
Additional details surrounding the 2019 CCMA Awards presented by TD, including ticket on-sale date, host announcement and show performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
