2018 CCMA Songwriters’ Series and In The Round: Crossing Borders
Award-winning songwriters take to the stage to discuss their process and
the stories behind their chart-topping hits at Country Music Week events presented by ole
August 29, 2018 (Hamilton, ON) -- Taking place over the first three days of Country Music Week, the CCMA Songwriters’ Series presented by ole celebrates the craft behind songwriting, the greatest aspect of country music. With performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the acoustic performance event will see The Reklaws, Jason McCoy and Chad Brownlee host a long-list of artists as they share the stories behind the words they’ve become known for.

Hosted by Ralph Murphy, the final acoustic event of Country Music Week, In The Round: Crossing Borders presented by ole, recognizes the ties that bond Canadian and American songwriters. Featuring one-time-only performances by masterclass songwriters Gord Bamford (Byron Hill, Phil O’Donnell, Buddy Owens), Phil Barton (Dustin Lynch, Cassadee Pope, Drake White, LoCash, Gord Bamford, High Valley, Chad Brownlee), Laura Veltz (Maren Morris, Eli Young Band, Chris Young, Trent Harmon) and Donovan Woods (Tim McGraw, Billy Currington, Charles Kelley, James Barker Band, Matt Andersen) this event is truly not to be missed.
