2012 CCMA Awards of Achievement Nominations March 8, 2012 2012 CCMA Awards of Achievement Nominations The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Board of Directors is reaching out to all CCMA Members requesting nominations for the 2012 CCMA Awards of Achievement. This year, the following three Awards of Achievement are eligible to be presented at PotashCorp Country Music Week 2012, to be held September 6-9 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan: The Slaight Music Humanitarian Award This Award recognizes an individual(s) and/or event(s) that have made an outstanding contribution of time and energy in the support of humanitarian causes through country music in Canada. Rambeau International Award This Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary effort in assisting the aims and initiatives of the Canadian country music industry internationally. To view a list of past recipients, visit http://ccma.org/awards/awardsofachievement_overview.cfm#AppendixA The Hank Smith Award of Excellence This Award recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond in contributing his or her time and talents behind the scenes for the advancement of Canadian country music. Please print the form, fill in completely and return to Morgan Ritcey at the CCMA Office by email at mritcey@ccma.org, by fax at 416-947-5924 or by mail to 120 Adelaide St. East, Suite 200, Toronto, ON M5C 1K9. All names brought forward for consideration for the 2012 Awards of Achievement must be received by the CCMA Office no later than April 20, 2012. Please be advised that it is at the discretion of the CCMA Board to award any or all of the CCMA Awards of Achievement in any given year. Annual presentation of any or all Awards of Achievement is not mandatory, nor guaranteed to occur each year.
