Celebrated CCMA Award Winners Paul Brandt, George Canyon and Johnny Reid Share the Stage with ACMA Winner Eric Church at 2012 CCMA Awards

June 12, 2012 (Toronto, ON) - The Canadian Country Music Association®(CCMA®), along with broadcast partner CBC, announced today an additional block of incredible performers who will showcase their talent on the CCMA Awards stage at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, SK. Broadcast on CBC Television on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 8 p.m. (8:30 p.m. NT), fans across Canada will be able to tune-in to watch some of the best acts that country music has to offer, with encore airings on CMT (Canada) starting at 10 p.m. ET. 2012 marks the first time the CCMA Awards will be broadcast from Saskatoon as well as the award show's 30th anniversary. Paul Brandt is all about 'You' in his newest music video, but when he returns to the CCMA Awards stage, all eyes will be on him as fans patiently wait for Canada's most awarded male Country artist to entertain the nation. Added to the stellar line-up of performers is one of Canada's most recognized country stars, George Canyon. 'Saddling Up' for summer festival season and his performance at the CCMA Awards Canyon has not only been focusing on his upcoming album, Classics II, but also has been honing his craft of acting, appearing in three feature films this year. One of Canada's most celebrated artists, Johnny Reid is no stranger to the CCMA Awards. Along with his Tartan Army, the multi-platinum selling artist will without a doubt 'Fire It Up' in Saskatoon by delivering a memorable performance of one of his many chart topping hits. Performing for the first time on the CCMA Awards stage is none other than the 'CHIEF' himself, Eric Church, who will without a doubt unleash his rockin' country attitude and perform a hit from his latest album which is GOLD in both Canada and the U.S. Brandt, Canyon, Reid, and Church will join previously announced performers Dean Brody, Deric Ruttan, Miranda Lambert, and Pistol Annies making this year's award show the most anticipated Canadian country music event of the year.
