Welcome! For almost three decades, Canada's country music industry has honoured artists, songwriters, broadcasters and "industry builders" by inducting them into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. Originally established in 1984 as the Hall of Honour, the CCMA merged in 1999 with the Hall of Fame created by singer/producer Gary Buck. This amalgamation created the current CCMA Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame and was a huge step in the right direction for country music in Canada. Induction into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame recognizes long-term contributions to the growth and development of Canadian country music. The recipient may be living or deceased, an Artist, Builder or Broadcaster, but must be recognized for his/her achievements as a Canadian. Members of the CCMA are invited to nominate an individual or group in the categories of Artist, Builder, and Broadcaster. Nomination ProcessIf you know someone who you feel is deserving of one of the prestigious Awards of Achievement, or who you feel should be inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, and you are a member of the CCMA (Industry, Corporate, or Lifetime Status) please enter your membership number below to review the nomination process. Awards of AchievementEach year we invite our members to review the complete list of Awards of Achievement and consider nominating candidates who meet the various criteria. These awards are presented based on the quantity and quality of each year's submissions. This means that the prestigious Awards of Achievement are not necessarily presented on an annual basis. These presentations will take place at Country Music Week.
